Jacob's First Recital

Jacob has been taking lessons now for a whole semester! He can play Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star beautifully...he was a little nervous at the recital but did a fabulous job. Silly Mom forgot to push the record button but we have part of it for you to see.











I am working on developing a better sense of humor...here's the latest thing that made me laugh...Jacob talking to Aubrey: Are you going on a mission, Aubrey?



A: Oh, I might go on a girl mission. Are you going on a mission, Jacob?



J:Yeah, wanna know why I'm going?



A: Why?



J:Cuz I'm gonna crack a whip and a coconut! (his dad served in Australia...I guess these are the two things Jacob remembers from our family home evening about missions)

Wow!!!! Jacob, you did a fantastic job!!! I liked your tone and the way you held your violin. Also, I loved the way you caught up with your pianist. Keep up the great work. We'll have to do a duet sometime!!!!
